The Champions League midweek fixtures are back for the next fortnight and as ever we here at Lazy Fan have searched through the markets and have sought some value for money bets that we think have a great chance of landing across the round-of-16 second leg ties.

The four ties taking place across tonight and tomorrow see Tottenham travel to Dortmund with their three goal cushion from the Wembley tie and despite some poor results over the last few weeks, notably Chelsea and Burnley for the Lily whites, they’ll be full of positivity following the return of Harry Kane. Equally, Dortmund have been struggling domestically, winning just once since their trip to London and allowed Bayern to draw level on points with them.

Tuesday night also sees Real Madrid hosting Ajax, who’ve been electric in the Champions League this year, while the reigning champions have looked somewhat sluggish. The Spaniards go into this home tie with a 2-1 lead, but this young Ajax side are not one to be overlooked and could’ve easily gone to the Bernabeu with a score draw and another away goal had it not been for VAR.

Wednesday night brings another English side into play, as Ole’s Manchester United travel to the formidable PSG, who will be buoyed by the return of Edinson Cavani, but Neymar is still ruled out for Thomas Tuchel. It’s United who face the bigger injury worries however, with Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial, Phill Jones, Alexis Sanchez and Antonia Valencia all still out and Paul Pogba missing the game through suspension (red card in previous leg).

The week’s Champions League action is rounded off with Roma travelling to Porto. Another 2-1 first leg see’s Roma go into the leg in control, but as we’ve seen over the last few years (PSG/Barca & Roma/Barca), no lead in the first leg is ever big enough to safely see you through to the next round. Porto are a formidable side at home, and with Iker Casillas in goal, will seek to nullify a Roman side fresh off of a 3-0 defeat. Porto’s away goal could prove to be the difference here.

Find my four fold accumulator for this week’s action below and be sure to check Lazy Fan on Friday for our look at the weekend’s action as well as more tips in all things Darts, Baseball and beyond in the coming weeks.
